A new option for the treatment of condyloma acuminatum in the male urethra: Multimodal ultrasound image-guided scraping and photodynamic therapy (USP)

•High-frequency ultrasound can find warts in the urethra non-invasively and reduce the pain of patients.•Accurate scraping and photodynamic therapy for warts in the urethra can be accomplished under the guidance of ultrasound imaging, which is a new treatment method for condyloma acuminatum in the male urethra.•Compared with urethroscopy, multi-mode high-frequency ultrasound imaging has many advantages in that it is repeatable, simple, practical, economical, and produces only mild adverse reactions.
