Student-driven climate action to safeguard health

Growing up through droughts in Colorado, wildfires in California, and floods in Louisiana, we have firsthand experience with how climate change is unequivocally a threat to health. At times, the weight of the world's climate-related suffering has left us feeling helpless. But a powerful antidote to helplessness is community; as the rising generation of health professionals, we have leveraged community to transform feelings of powerlessness in the face of the climate crisis and create innovative and meaningful change.
