摘要
SHARK is a new whole core transport code developed by the Nuclear Power Institute of China (NPIC). The constructive solid geometry (CSG) is used in SHARK to model the reactors. The subgroup method based on an equivalence cross-section interpolation table is applied to treat resonance self-shielding effects. The 2D/1D transport methods can be chosen in SHARK. The HPR1000 which is a 3rd commercial reactor has independent intellectual property owned by China. The validation of SHARK is processed via the HPR1000 in this work. The numerical results demonstrate that SHARK can calculate whole core directly and accurately.
