Jingcaitiannuo No.2 is a new cultivar of colored sweet-waxy corn crossbred by Jiangsu Runyang Seed Industry Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Vegetable Science Research Institute with QN51 as female parent and J59HT14 as male parent. The average yield was 961.8 kg/667 m~2, which was 23.1% higher than that of Suyunuo No.5（CK） in the regional test of new cultivars of fresh waxy corn in Jiangsu province from 2019 to 2020. The average yield was899.7 kg/667 m~2, which was 18.4% higher than that of Suyunuo No.5（CK） in the production test of new cultivars of fresh waxy corn in Jiangsu province in 2021. The results of disease resistance identification and quality analysis showed that the cultivar had strong resistance and good quality, which was suitable for planting in Jiangsu province and similar climate areas. And it was applied for crop cultivar approval in Jiangsu province in 2022.
