Yizong Shuoyue, consisting of 6 volumes, was written by Jiang Shiji,a physician in the Qing Dynasty.Written in the form of verses, this book integrates viewpoints from various scholars and presents unique insights into the four diagnostic methods, commonly used Chinese medicines and their processing,as well as common frequently-occurring diseases in internal and surgical medicine. With plain language and detailed discussions, the book promotes the popularization, simplification and accessibility of classics of traditional Chinese medicine. This article conducted an in-depth study and discussion on the academic thoughts of Yizong Shuoyue from the following five perspectives:elaboration of pulse diagnosis theory, treatment of typhoid fever based on disease differentiation, priority to color diagnosis in pediatrics, emphasis on blood regulation in gynecology, and cautious use of cold and cool herbs for sores and ulcers.
The interdisciplinary integration of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and ultrasound technology has effectively addressed issues such as the subjectivity of TCM efficacy evaluation and vague therapeutic targets under the development trend of"precision"and"multimodal integration"in modern medicine. With its advantages of real-time imaging,non-radiation and dynamic monitoring, ultrasound technology provides objective technical support for the diagnosis, therapeutic operation and efficacy verification of TCM.With the characteristics of"holistic concept"and"treatment based on syndrome differentiation",TCM has broadened the clinical application scenarios of ultrasound technology. This article systematically reviewed the collaborative applications of the two in functional positioning, combined clinical treatment, therapeutic efficacy evaluation, extraction of Chinese herbal medicines, and TCM syndrome differentiation, aiming to provide references for theoretical research and clinical practice of precise integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment.
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Xuanqi Jiangu tablets combined with kinesiology tape in the treatment of early-to-mid-stage knee osteoarthritis. Methods A total of 60 patients with early-to-mid-stage knee osteoarthritis treated in Fuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2024 to December 2024 were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)by random number table method. Both groups were given oral Xuanqi Jiangu tablets, and the treatment group was additionally treated with knee kinesiology taping on the basis of oral medication. The treatment course for both groups was 4 weeks. The visual analogue scale(VAS)score,Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)total score, and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score before treatment,at 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment were observed and compared between the two groups.Safety indicators and adverse reactions were monitored in both groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).At 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, the VAS score,WOMAC total score and TCM symptom score in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Xuanqi Jiangu tablets combined with kinesiology tape had significant clinical efficacy in relieving pain and improving functional limitation in patients with early-to-mid-stage knee osteoarthritis. It was safe, reliable, easy to operate and had few adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical recommendation.
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Banxia Xiexin decoction on helicobacter pylori(Hp)-positive gastric ulcer and its influence on Ghrelin and Peptide YY(PYY).Methods A total of 90 patients with Hp-positive gastric ulcer admitted to the outpatient clinic of Nanyang Zhang Zhongjing Hospital from March 2024 to March 2025 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatment, while the observation group was treated with Banxia Xiexin decoction orally in addition to the conventional treatment. The efficacy, levels of Ghrelin and PYY were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The ulcer healing rate and total effective rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The Hp eradication rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the Ghrelin level of the observation group was lower, while the PYY level was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Banxia Xiexin decoction combined with conventional treatment could effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients with Hp-positive gastric ulcer, improve the ulcer healing rate and Hp eradication rate, and thus enhance the clinical efficacy. The mechanism might be related to the regulation of gastrointestinal hormone balance by Banxia Xiexin decoction.
