Wszystkie predykcje dotyczyły 20-dniowego okresu pracy magazynu. W przypadku każdej z wykonanych predykcji zastosowano 6 wariantów zmiany ciśnienia w trakcie pracy magazynu gazu. (*) Instalacja magazynowa paliw gazowych to system służący do przechowywania paliw gazowych, obejmujący zarówno naziemne i podziemne zbiorniki, jak i magazyny w kawernach solnych czy sczerpanych złożach węglowodorów.
The article presents the results of a study aimed at investigating the possibility of using a mixture of pre-treated agricultural biogas and LNG or group E natural gas in equipment adapted to burn group S natural gas. The tests have been performed on the appliances serving preparation of meals and hot water production for hygienic and heating purposes. A brief description of the gas appliances selected for testing were presented. The tested appliances had burners and gas automation have been adapted to burn group S natural gas. A gas cooker and a gas hob (equipped with two different types of burners) and two gas boilers were selected for testing. One of the boilers was equipped with a pre-mix burner and had a closed combustion chamber, while the other boiler had a kinetic-diffusion burner and an open combustion chamber. The tested appliances reflected the most popular designs of domestic gas appliances in their group, used both in Poland and in other European countries. The tests were carried out by supplying the appliances selected for testing with G25.1 gas (G25.1 gas is the reference gas for group S natural gas) and two mixtures that corresponded to the minimum and maximum energy parameters of group S natural gas. The article presents approximate percentage composition of gases used during tests and their energy parameters. The research was focused on checking the following operating parameters and the safety of tested appliances: rated heat input, thermal efficiency, combustion quality, ignition, flame stability and transfer. The article contains an analysis of the test results in detail relating to the obtained values of thermal loads and efficiency.
Characteristic land forms, so-called fairy circles, are associated with surface hydrogen emissions. Two such structures located in the Lublin Voivodship (approximately 30 km east of Lublin, Poland) were selected for soil gas studies (radon content and molecular composition). This is an area where hydrogen generation could potentially occur due to the high content of highly thermally transformed organic matter (e.g., in the Lower Silurian formations). Moreover, the area is located near the Teisseyre-Tornquist zone, which is strongly cut by faults that could represent potential routes for hydrogen migration to the surface. The radon content was measured using a RAD7 from Durridge. Soil air samples were analyzed for molecular composition using Agilent 7890A gas chromatographs equipped with flame ionization (FID), thermal conductivity (TCD), and flame photometric (FPD) detectors. Measurements were taken at 24 points for the larger of the selected structures, marked with the letter W. Radon concentrations ranged from 0 to 10,873.6 Bq/m3. Measurements for 9 points were taken for the second of the selected structures, marked with the letter F. Radon contents ranged from 271.6 to 1169.5 Bq/m3. Analyses of radon contents show that potential pathways of gas migration to the surface occur not in the fairy circle structure itself but at the boundary and nearby. Molecular composition analyses of the soil gas reveal elevated methane and carbon dioxide contents. Hydrogen contents differentiate the two formations. For the W structure, hydrogen occurs in only two samples at low concentrations, while for the F formation, it was identified in four samples at markedly higher concentrations (from 108 to 314 ppm).
Most of petroleum hydrocarbons, regardless of chemical structure, can be transformed to simple compounds (CO2, CH3COOH), being metabolised by methanogenic consortia. In the experiment, a rock sample (dolomite) containing organic matter was treated with a microbial consortium to replicate the formation of biogenic secondary methane. Methanogenic consortia were isolated from soil samples from natural oil seepages sited in the Polish Carpathians. The rock material together with the microbial medium and microbial inoculum was placed in an anaerostat and then incubated. Analyses of the molecular composition of the generated gas were performed twice – on day 30 and on day 109 of the experiment. The summed values of the separated gas components were as follows: for the P consortium it was 30.5 mmol, and for the O-S and L1 consortia it was 27.8 mmol. The main component of the generated gases was nitrogen. The highest amount of methane separated was recorded for sample P (1.58 mmol) and the lowest for sample L1 (0.14 mmol). Elemental analyses of the organic matter obtained after acidification of the rock material were also carried out. GC-MS analyses of the saturated and aromatic fractions showed no signs of biodegradation, and the only difference between the control and other samples was the appearance of elemental sulphur. Despite the absence of signs of microbial activity on the organic matter, gas generation occurred in the microbial-inoculated samples. In addition, in the final phase of the experiment, active ribosomes belonging to the Archaea domain and the order Methanosarcinales could be visualised from the microorganism-treated material (results of FISH analysis). This indicates that methanogenesis is taking place under the experimental conditions discussed.
W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań laboratoryjnych stwardniałych zaczynów cementowych przeznaczonych do użycia w podziemnych magazynach wodoru. Do zaczynów wprowadzano różne dodatki modyfikujące (m.in. nanomateriały w postaci nano-SiO2, nano-Al2O3, lateks oraz środek polimerowy).
