    说明书
    [0001]具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法
    [0002]技术领域
    [0003]本发明涉及一种具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法,特别涉及一种有效缩短具有自动平衡系统的光驱于激活程序所花时间的方法。
    [0004]背景技术
    [0005]光信息存取媒体的快速发展,使现今光驱都以高倍速的要求为发展方向。但光驱倍速越高所代表的意义即是主轴马达(SpindleMotor)的转速越快,如现今的主轴马达转速己高达11200RPM。在如此高的转速下所产生的纵向及横向的振动量将变大。再加上光盘片本身的不平衡量于旋转时所产生的离心偏摆力也会随之增大,都会进一步影响到光驱读取光盘片的稳定性。
    [0006]于是高倍速光驱在实际使用上,过大的振动量往往会造成光学头(Pick-Uphead)读盘能力的不稳定,使得光驱无法维持在最高转速读取光盘片上的数据。且光驱高速旋转所产生的噪音也会造成使用者在操作上的不适及困扰。故如何有效抑制主轴马达高速旋转所产生的振动,并确保光驱能在最高倍速平顺且正确无误的读取光盘片上的数据,实为一重要课题。
    [0007]因此为了解决上述的问题,现今己有一种作法称为自动平衡系统(Auto-BalanceSystem;ABS)。请参阅图1,其为运用于光驱的自动平衡系统的示意图。自动平衡系统包括平衡质量(通常为一定个数的钢珠)11及承载平衡质量11的旋转体(Housing)12(通常为圆形),其中旋转体12是设于主轴马达13上方,并可与主轴马达13同步旋转,旋转体12上设有以旋转体12的旋转轴为圆心的单轨圆形轨道(也可设为多轨)14,而平衡质量11则设置于轨道14内。自动平衡系统应用旋转机械的理论(Rotordynamics),当主轴马达13旋转速度高于临界速度(Criticalspeed),额外加入平衡质量11可随着偏重心量的大小而自动滚到平衡位置,如此将可有效降低主轴马达13高速旋转时所产生的振动及噪音。
    [0008]请参阅图2,其所绘示是为主轴马达转速曲线的波形图。对于使用具有自动平衡系统的光驱时必须在激活时执行一定的主轴马达转速控制曲线(SpindleMotorRPMprofile),以图2为例光驱激活时对主轴马达13设定一转速A,并于激活主轴马达13旋转后于T1时间到达转速A,主轴马达13转速保持在转速A一段延迟时间(T2-T1),于T2时间时设定主轴马达13的转速为转速B,主轴马达13开始加速并于T3时间到达转速B,主轴马达13转速保持在转速B一段延迟时间(T4-T3),于T4时间时设定主轴马达13的转速为转速C,主轴马达13开始加速并于T5时间到达转速C,于T5时间设定主轴马达13的转速为转速D,并于T6时间到达转速D。光驱经由执行上述的主轴马达转速控制曲线在不同时间设定不同转速及时间延迟,将会使得位于轨道14内的平衡质量(钢珠)11能够均匀散至平衡点,并能在最佳状态下有效降低主轴马达13旋转所造成的振动量,以达到执行主轴马达转速控制曲线的功效。然而不同的自动平衡系统依其减震设计的不同都有其最佳的主轴马达转速控制曲线,并不局限于图2所示。
    [0009]请参阅图3,其所绘示是为具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法的流程图。当使用者将光盘片置入光驱时,光驱即会开始执行一激活程序将光驱调整至最佳状态以顺利读取光盘片数据,而具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活程序包含有下列步骤:
    [0010]步骤21,光盘片置入光驱即开始激活程序;
    [0011]步骤22:伺服激活,即分别由主轴服务器将主轴马达旋转并切入至闭回路控制以顺利旋转光盘片、聚焦服务器将聚焦点切入闭回路控制,使聚焦点打在光盘片,以及循轨服务器将聚焦点切入至闭回路控制,使聚焦点锁在轨道中心完成定轨动作;
    [0012]步骤23:系统参数调整,由光驱针对所置入的光盘片作光学信号及电气信号最佳化的系统参数调校;
    [0013]步骤24:执行主轴马达转速控制曲线,即依光驱所采用自动平衡系统的不同以执行特定的主轴马达转速控制曲线,使自动平衡系统能够在最佳状态下有效降低振动量,如执行图2所示的主轴马达转速控曲线;
    [0014]步骤25:完成激活程序。
    [0015]经由上述光驱激活程序的执行,可完成光盘片置入具有自动平衡系统的光驱所需的初始化激活程序。而此激活程序所花的时间即为在伺服激活、系统参数调整及执行主轴马达转速控制曲线所花时间的总和。然而激活程序在执行主轴马达转速控制曲线时,却有相当多的时间耗在执行系统的延迟等待(如图2中T2-T1及T4-T3此时间范围即是)。因此若依照此激活程序执行,将会拉长具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活时间,因为其中执行主轴马达转速控制曲线是有一部分的时间是在作系统延迟等待,此时系统并未做其它的作业,而会造成光驱整体激活时间变长,难以满足于现今对光驱快速激活的需求。
    [0016]总之,对于具有自动平衡系统的光驱而言,虽然可利用自动平衡系统有效降低主轴马达因高速旋转所引起的振动量及噪音等问题。但因为要执行主轴马达转速控制曲线使自动平衡系统能发挥最佳的减震效果,却也相对造成光驱的激活程序所花时间拉长的缺陷,如此对于高倍数光驱而言,并没有因为主轴马达转速变快而能获得较快速的激活效果。
    [0017]本发明提出一种“具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法”,其设计合理且有效改善上述缺陷。
    [0018]发明内容
    [0019]本发明的主要目的,在于可提供一种具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法,特别是一种具有自动平衡系统的光驱在执行主轴马达转速控制曲线中的系统延迟等待时,能利用此时间去执行光驱激活程序中的其它作业,以有效利用系统资源,并能缩短光驱的激活时间。
    [0020]为了达成上述目的,本发明提供一种具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法,是由一光盘片置入一具有自动平衡系统(Auto-BalanceSystem:ABS)的光驱时开启一激活程序,以在一主程序内执行一伺服激活和一系统参数调整,及一主轴马达转速控制,其中,该执行该系统参数调整时,每隔一固定时间由一中断子程序执行一部分的一主轴马达转速控制。
    [0021]为了进一步了解本发明特征及技术内容,请参阅以下有关本发明的详细说明与附图,然而附图仅提供参考与说明用,并非用来对本发明加以限制。
    [0022]附图说明
    [0023]图1是现有运用于光驱的自动平衡系统的示意图;
    [0024]图2是现有主轴马达转速控制曲线的波形图;
    [0025]图3是现有具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法的流程图;
    [0026]图4是本发明具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法的流程图;及
    [0027]图5是本发明利用定时中断子程序执行主轴马达转速控制曲线的波形图。
    [0028]具体实施方式
    [0029]请同时参阅图4及图5,其所绘示是分别为具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法的流程图及利用定时中断子程序执行主轴马达转速控制曲线的波形图。本发明是针对具有自动平衡系统的光驱而言,其所采用的方法是利用主程序定时呼叫中断子程序的原理,并将执行主轴马达转速控制曲线由主程序搬移至子程序来执行。以下所述即为本发明具有自动平衡系统的光驱激活方法,其执行时包含有下列步骤。
    [0030]步骤31:光盘片置入光驱即开始激活程序;
    [0031]步骤32:伺服激活,即分别由主轴服务器将主轴马达旋转并切入至闭回路控制以顺利旋转光盘片、聚焦服务器将聚焦点切入闭回路控制,使聚焦点打在光盘片,以及循轨服务器将聚焦点切入至闭回路控制,使聚焦点锁在轨道中心完成定轨动作;
    [0032]步骤33:系统参数调整,由光驱针对所置入的光盘片作光学信号及电气信号最佳化的系统参数调校,且在执行完系统参数调整时,每隔一段ΔT时间定时产生一中断子程序并跳至步骤34执行主轴马达转速控制曲线,并于完全执行完系统参数调整及主轴马达转速控制曲线才跳至步骤35;
    [0033]步骤34:执行主轴马达转速控制曲线,即依光驱所采用自动平衡系统的不同以执行特定的主轴马达转速控制曲线,使自动平衡系统能够在最佳状态下有效降低主轴马达高速旋转的振动量,如执行图5所示的主轴马达转速控曲线,此中断子程序依预设主轴马达转速控制曲线检查目前的主轴马达转速并设定新的主轴马达转速曲线,完成之后系统才将程序的控制权返回至主程序,即跳回步骤33执行;
    [0034]步骤35:完成激活程序。
    [0035]其中在步骤32及33是为主程序控制,执行有关光驱激活程序中的伺服激活及系统参数调整。而在步骤34是为中断子程序控制,则执行光驱激活程序中的主轴马达转速控制曲线。由于在执行主轴马达控制曲线时有相当多的时间只是用来作系统的延迟等待,因此本发明特别利用在主程序执行时(即步骤33)每隔一段ΔT时间定时产生中断子程序(即步骤34)将主轴马达转速控制曲线以ΔT时间为单位切割成数等份加以分段执行,而并非在一次的中断子程序即执行完主轴马达转速控制曲线。如此当执行主轴马达转速控制曲线中的系统延迟等待时(如图5中T2-T1及T4-T3此时间范围即是),由于程序的控制权并非一直落于中断子程序(步骤34),而是于每次的中断子程序执行时依预设主轴马达转速控制曲线检查目前的主轴马达转速并设定新的主轴马达转速曲线,完成之后系统就会将程序的控制权返回至主程序(步骤33),如此将可大幅减少系统花费在主轴马达转速控制曲线中的系统延迟等待,以达到光驱在作系统参数调整时也同时能执行主轴马达转速控制曲线。
    [0036]因此通过将主轴马达转速控制曲线搬移至中断子程序执行,并由主程序每隔一段AT时间定时产生中断子程序,利用中断子程序执行主轴马达转速控制曲线,并于执行完毕后即会将程序的控制权返回至主程序,且中断子程序每次所执行的时间是小于ΔT时间。也就是说在每一段ΔT时间内程序的控制权会往返于主程序与中断子程序之间,如此将可有效节省系统资源,并达到在每一段ΔT时间都能执行到主程序中的系统参数调整及中断子程序中的主轴马达转速控制曲线。如此相比于现有在执行主轴马达转速控制曲线时,却有相当多的时间耗在执行系统的延迟等待(如图2中T2-T1及T4-T3此时间范围即是),而并未作其它的动作,形成系统资源的浪费,本发明却能利用主程序呼叫中断子程序时,利用程控权往返于主程序与中断子程序之间,主轴马达转速控制曲线即使是在时间延迟的阶段(如图5中T2-T1及T4-T3此时间范围即是),在每个ΔT时间内均能对系统参数作调整及执行主轴马达转速控制曲线。当然在主轴马达转速控制曲线的其它时间里也会同时对系统参数作调整及执行主轴马达转速控制曲线。如此通过本发明所采用的方法将会使光驱的激活时间比现有做法更能有效减少。
    [0037]据此,本发明利用定时中断子程序来实现主轴马达转速控制曲线的控制,除了可让具有自动平衡系统的光驱能有较佳的减震及消除噪音效果之外,更主要可因此缩短光驱的激活时间,并且因主轴马达转速控制曲线由定时中断子程序作执行,而能利用中断子程序监控使主轴马达转速控制曲线的稳定性与准确性可大幅提升。
