During the history of monitoring fishing and population parameters of the Black Sea-Azov pontic shad, researchers have identified 9 periods of structural organization of the population, mainly due to anthropogenic transformation of the reservoir. The paper presents updated results of an assessment of stock dynamics, fishing mortality, and an analysis of the specifics of fishing organization in the Kerch Strait and the Don river in 2020-2024. The results of stock assessment showed that the biomass of the commercial pontic shad stock was partially determined by the level of fishing mortality, and continues its downward trend starting since 2021, with signs of overfishing. Commercial catches in the Kerch Strait and the The Don had a uniform proportion in the period 2020-2022, in 2023 the main part of the catch volume was recorded in the Kerch Strait, in 2024 – in the Don River. The peak of fishing efficiency was recorded in May of each year (with the exception of 2023), due to the high efficiency of fishing in the lower reaches of the Don River during spawning migration. The lenght structure of the pontic shad population, estimated from the results of bottom trawling in the autumn period, indicates a deterioration in the structure of the commercial population (its abundance and structural diversity) in 2021 and the subsequent restoration of the structure of the commercial population in 2022-2024.
The article analyzes the dynamics of the water level and water content of the Ivankovo reservoir for the period from 1951 to 2022 and their impact on commercial fish stocks. It has been established that the reservoir is characterized by high interannual variability of water content and significant fluctuations in water level, especially during the spawning period. A decrease in stocks of most fish species was revealed in the early 2000s, with subsequent stabilization and partial recovery to date. There was a negative correlation between the water level response and fish stocks in the period from 1999 to 2007, which changed to a positive correlation after the closure of the fishery in 2007. It is assumed that the decrease in the maximum water level utilization in recent years, associated with a change in the reservoir regulation regime, contributes to the restoration of the number of some fish species. In general, the water level regulation regime in the Ivankovo reservoir has a significant impact on the state of its ecosystem and requires further study to develop optimal measures for the conservation and rational use of fish resources.
The Northern Sea Route is a promising transport corridor that ensures the economic development of the Arctic territories of Russia. It is actively used for the oil and gas supply to the world market, as evidenced by the traffic volume growth in the last decade. The study objective is to determine the Northern Sea Route output and the prospects for its development, taking into account changes in the state economic policy. The operating results of the Northern Sea Route are considered based on a comparison of expenditures and revenues of the federal budget using on the example of the Yamal LNG project by the comparative analysis method.

The results obtained will improve the efficiency of using the reserves of Far Eastern herrings.
The size-age structure and weight of roach in catches in the autumn period of 2022-2023 are considered in the upper part of the Volga reach of the Kuibyshev reservoir. The correspondence of the biological indicators of roach to the characteristics inherent in the destabilization period of the ecosystem of the Kuibyshev reservoir was established.

The use of MagadanNIRO small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is considered when taking into account the spawning grounds of Pacific herring in the Olskaya lagoon of the Tauiskaya Bay of the Sea of Okhotsk. The effectiveness of the UAV operation on spawning grounds located within the accessibility of vehicles and in favorable weather conditions is evaluated.
The history of the study and fishing, the main biological indicators of the blue king crab Paralithodes platypus, living in the north-western part of the Sea of Okhotsk, are considered. Based on the materials collected in 2003-2022, the course of fishing and catching of this crab is analyzed. It is shown that the prospects of industrial development of this valuable object in the coming years do not cause concerns.
Based on the materials collected in January-April 2023, the features of the fishing of the Okhotsk and Gizhiginsky-Kamchatka herring living in the northern part of the Sea of Okhotsk are considered. The areas of operation of vessels in the fishery are shown, the indicators of average catches of large and medium-tonnage vessels and the number of fishing vessels are given by month. Data on the average body length of herring, by-catches of pollock and juvenile herring are presented.
The infection of three species of greenlings of the genus Hexagrammos, and two species of single-finned greenlings of the genus Pleurogrammus, was examined by myxosporeans. In the myxosporeans fauna of greening fish, 6 species of myxosporeans were found: Sphaeromyxa hexagrammi, Zschokkella russelli, Ceratomyxa azonusi, Alataspora bialata, Kudoa azoni, Kudoa sp. At the same, three species (S. hexagrammi, C. azonusi, K. azoni) are specific only to greenling fish. Two species (Z. russelli, A. bialata) are broadly specific, Kudoa sp. not determined to species It was established that in the common greenlings the infection with myxosporeans was low, and the composition of the fauna was poor. The one-finned greenlings, in contrast to the common-finned greenlings, were more infected and had more myxosporeans species in their fauna. But both greenlings are dominated by the gallbladder species Sphaeromyxa hexagrammi, and muscle parasites of the genus Kudoa (K. azoni, K sp.), but the nature of infestation and distribution across the study areas are very different. First of all, with the biology of these greenlings. A smaller degree of differences in the common greenlings in the expansion of invasion by various species of myxosporeans less ecological plasticity of these species, compared to the single-finned greenlings.
Data on ecological features and commercial development of the main smelt species living in the Khabarovsk Territory are presented. The role of smelt in the structure of aquatic biological resources of the region at the present time is analyzed. The information obtained can be used to substantiate their rational fishing and reproduction.
Based on the materials of research in 2015 and 2018, data on the spatial distribution and biological state of crabs in one of the new fishing areas for the Russian Federation are presented - subregion 61.52 Central part of the Sea of Okhotsk. In the area studied, the following commercial crab species were recorded in crab trap catches: Lithodes aequispinus, L. couesi, Paralomis multispina, P. verrilli, Chionoecetes opilio and Ch. angulatus. A single capture of 2 individuals of the sharp-winged crab Oregonia bifurca, which had not previously been encountered in the Sea of Okhotsk, was noted. The main clusters of commercial species of crabs were confined to the northern site at depths of 300-500 m. Of the entire variety of species, only the equidistant crab forms dense aggregations, the stocks of which have been exploited by industry since 2017. Chionoecetes opilio and Ch. angulatus stocks in the area of «polygon» can also recruit the resource base of commercial fishing.
