One of the implicit positive effects of interregional integration is the process of decarbonization of the economies of the integrating countries. The positive spillover effect of integration, which manifests itself in the form of technology diffusion, leads to a decrease in CO₂ emissions by displacing traditional industries and increasing the overall level of production efficiency. The purpose of the study is to assess the relationship between technology development and a decrease in CO₂ emissions in the EAEU space. Using correlation analysis, the paper verifies the hypothesis that the positive spillover effect associated with technology diffusion contributes to the decarbonization of the EAEU economies. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there is a (multidirectional, asymmetric) statistically significant relationship between the studied variables - the level of technology development affects the level of CO₂ emissions. Moreover, the positive spillover effect of integration manifests itself with a time lag of 1 year, i.e. it does not act instantly (it is a dynamic effect of integration). The obtained results indicate that in more developed economies (in the case of the EAEU, this is Russia and Kazakhstan), the decarbonization effect from the introduction of new technologies is more pronounced than in less developed ones. The results of the study can be used to develop a strategy for the socio-economic development of the EAEU countries, taking into account the parameters of the technological development of the countries.
The migration of human capital within the framework of the emerging superecosystem is a process affecting the work of economic and social subsystems directly through flow of value, and indirectly through flow of knowledge or spillover effects. The purpose of the research is to assess the impact of human capital migration on EAEU ecosystem efficiency. Research considers the effect of human capital migration on the EAEU countries. It also dwells on the economic and social subsystems of the integrating countries. However, fluctuations in the level of labour productivity as a result of basic elements flow between integrating ecosystems show changes in EAEU countries economic subsystems. Moreover, fluctuations in the quality of life of the population and the influx of talents are changes in the social subsystem of those countries. The hypothesis of the research consists in assessing direct effect of human capital migration between integrating ecosystems on labour productivity through the flow of value. It also assesses indirectly effect of human capital migration on the quality of life and the influx of talent through the flow of knowledge. According to the research results, there is no statically significant relationship between the studied variables – migration of human capital within the EAEU does not significantly affect the level of labour productivity, quality of life, and the influx of talents.
The relevance of the research topic is due to the contradiction between the innovation activity of organisations and their contribution to regional socio-economic development. Innovation should lead to productivity growth and contribute to the creation of high-productivity jobs. However, the situation in many Russian regions is paradoxical one – despite of high innovation activity of small and medium-sized enterprises their labour productivity remains at the same level or decreases. The purpose of the research is to assess the impact of innovations on labour productivity for the Russian economy on the example of the Central Federal District regions. The paper verifies the hypothesis on the presence of statistically significant relationship between the indicators characterising the innovation activity of small and medium-sized enterprises, the index of labour productivity, and the growth of high-productive jobs in the Central Federal District regions through the methods of economic and mathematical modelling. According to the research results, the parameters of small and medium-sized enterprises innovation activity do not have a significant impact on the dynamics of socio-economic development of the Central Federal District regions.
The removal of barriers to the movement of goods, services and factors of production within an integration association leads to the emergence of spillover effects that have a significant impact on the welfare of the population in the integrating countries. Given the growing dynamics of trade turnover and accelerating economic growth in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), as well as the lack of studies on the environmental situation in this region, the study of the impact of technology on the environment in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia is of particular relevance. The purpose of the study is to identify the impact of technological spillover on the state of the environment in five EAEU countries in the interval 2011-2022. Hypothesis of the study - the spread of technology in the EAEU space changes the quality of production (there is an increase in the share of renewable energy sources), and this reduces damage to the environment, through the reduction of CO2 emissions. The study investigated the stationarity of variables, determined the most appropriate model for each set of data, considered the possibility of using models with fixed or random effects. As a result of the study, the hypothesis stated in the paper was not confirmed by panel data for the EAEU countries in the interval 2011-2022.
The formation of a single labor market in the EAEU creates new opportunities and risks for national economies: the free movement of labor resources within the integration association affects not only the level of wages or employment, but also leads to more complex, complex consequences for donor and recipient countries. Using correlation analysis, the paper verifies the hypothesis that the reverse spillover effect associated with the return of migrant workers to their home countries contributes not only to the growth of value added in labor donor countries, but also stimulates demand for new technologies and services, which ultimately leads to an increase in the level of technological development of EAEU countries. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there is no statistically significant relationship between the variables under study – labor migration does not have a significant impact on the level of technological development of the EAEU countries. The results of the study can be used to develop a strategy of technological development of the EAEU countries, taking into account the parameters of external labor migration.
The relevance of the study is due to the unprecedented number of economic sanctions imposed on the Russian economy since 2014. In this paper we will assess the impact of economic sanctions on the development of key sectors of the Russian industry: machine-building complex, food industry and extraction of fuel and energy minerals. The dynamics of the development of the analyzed branches of the Russian industry in the 13-year time interval was multidirectional. High utilization of production capacities and support of national production by the weak national currency were counteracted by negative factors associated with the coronavirus pandemic and sectoral sanctions against the Russian economy. The study verifies the hypothesis of the negative impact of economic sanctions on the development of Russian industry using economic and mathematical modeling methods. The results of the study showed the existence of a relationship between the number of anti-Russian sanctions and the dynamics of development of two branches of the Russian industry: food and machine-building. For the mining industry the correlation coefficient was insignificant.
There is a certain consensus in the economic literature about the problems of the competitiveness of countries in the global economy – factor productivity determines the country’s competitiveness, its growth rates and the quality of life of the population. The purpose of this work is to create an economic-mathematical model, which describes the relationship between the level of national competitiveness, the labor productivity and the quality of life. At the first stage of investigation, based on the data taken from the World Economic Forum reports (2010-2018 period) we verified the hypothesis of the presence of a direct (statistically significant) relationship between the studied indicators, using the methods of economic and mathematical modeling. The second stage of the study involves the creation of a mathematical and economic model, which makes it possible to determine the direction of the dependence identified and the extent to which the factors studied have influenced national competitiveness
В статті проаналізована проблема формування вимірювального сигналу у біспектральній пірометрії. Проведено аналіз існуючих схем формування мультиспектрального сигналу у пірометрії. Запропоновано декілька схем формування сигналу – з використанням багатогранної призми та з використанням тришарові матриці. Розроблена фізична модель формування вимірювального та вихідного сигналів біспектрального пірометра.
