个人简介
As a biologist and a biostatistician with a specialization in osteoporosis, endocrinology, and bioinformatics, my long-term research goal is to study the prevention and intervention of osteoporosis and bone metabolism by combining the traditional biological approaches with cutting-edge bioinformatical and biostatistical tools.
Recent advances in single-cell sequencing technology have allowed for a rapid increase in the collection of multi-omics data measured on the single-cell level. The availability of incorporating the traditional biological approaches and novel bioinformatical tools is crucial for improving the understanding of the functional mechanisms implicated in the disease pathophysiology.
My training and research experiences have given me a unique combination of skills at the intersection of statistics, computer science, and molecular biology.
