I'm a research scientist at AI2, on the AllenNLP team. I work towards natural language understanding, with a focus on reading comprehension and structured prediction. Checkout my papers for an up-to-date overview of my research.

I have a PhD from Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where I wrote a thesis on Knowledge-Aware Natural Language Understanding, advised by Prof. Ed Hovy, and a Masters degree from Columbia University.
