Bio
I am a faculty member at the Computer Science Department, Ben-Gurion University, Israel. Previously I was a visiting associate professor at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology(SIAT), China (2009-2010). I received my B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion Institute in 1999, and M.Sc in Computer Science from the Tel-Aviv University in 2002. During this time I spent four years working in a start-up software company (formerly named "GAYA") focusing on signal processing and noise reduction algorithms for VoIP applications. My PhD on "Surface Reconstruction Techniques for Imperfect Raw Data" was carried under the supervision of Daniel Cohen-Or and Ariel Shamir at Tel-Aviv University (2007). I did my Post-Doc with Prof. Nina Amenta at University of California at Davis exploring topics in shape registration and deformation for paleontology, parallel hashing on the GPU and computational geometry (2007-2009).
