Bio
As a small and lovely team at QUT, my colleagues and I conduct research on materials compatibility for high temperature applications in Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plants. This includes corrosion, oxidation, erosion, liquid metal embrittlement (LME), carburization, etc. of metals in high temperature environments such as Phase Change Materials (PCM)/molten salt/molten aluminum alloys, supercritical CO2 and liquid sodium for thermal energy storage (TES) .
