Mingyu Yan (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree from the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2016, the M.S. degree from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2018, and the Ph.D. degree from the Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA, in 2021. From 2021 to 2022, he was a Research Associate with Imperial College London, London, U.K. He is currently a Full Professor with the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include power market, peer-to-peer energy trading, virtual power plants, multiple energy system integration, and renewable energy.
