Bio
Dr. Ali, received PhD degree in Science- Physics, 2019 (Developing Nanomaterials via Laser Ablation Technique Applicable for Nano-optics and Nano-medicine Applications) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia.
I had engaged in extensive teaching, research, administration, supervising students in the master’s and undergraduate program. My research and academic activities are highlighted in the detail CV. Apart from research and teaching I was providing administrative service in Post-graduate Research Committee, Publication Unit, designing Course Structures, Curricula and also social service as facilitator, keynote and invited speaker. I taught all the basic core courses in the Undergraduate of Physics, Materials Science and Semiconductors
My interest is to apply various laser (high and low power) ablation techniques: (i) to synthesize different types of nanostructures (organic and inorganic) and (ii) to modify the surface textures of diverse industrially potential metals. Organic nanomaterials with controlled properties are established to be advantageous for diversified biomedical and pharmacological applications. Such nanoparticles being bioactive and nontoxic can be effective anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant agents. Synthesis of these nanostructures using pulse laser ablation in liquid (PLAL) technique is significant.
My professional academic interests and goals in research are to create intellect and creative manpower with rational and logical mind for the society. I believe in outcome-based education system with emphasis on career pathways and leadership quality development
