Born on 25-05-1976 in Mettudam, Salem district, Tamilnadu, India. Completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree at KSR College of technology under Madras University in the Mechanical Engineering Department in 1999, and a Master of Engineering at Annamalai University in the specialisation of Thermal power engineering in 2014. Completed Ph.D. at Anna University in the Mechanical Engineering discipline. The area of interest is heat pipes and heat exchangers. Having 19+ years of teaching experience and one year of industry experience. Received three AICTE and one IE(I) fund for QIP projects, total worth 3 lakhs. Published four international journals and 5 national conferences. Authored a book titled Basic Thermodynamics for engineering students. Also a member of the Professional body IE(I) Institutions of Engineers India.
