A methodical and dedicated professional with keen insight in securing information systems, utilizing great understanding of monitoring, detecting, investigating, analyzing, and responding to security events, protection of systems from cybersecurity risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. With over 16 years progressive experience in learning, applying and teaching computer security. Published multiple papers on Cyber-Physical Systems, CAN, and computer security.
I have successfully utilized methodologies that build understanding instead of memorizing. Identified challenges through the COVID-19 pandemic, and successfully implemented an online approach that provided an equivalent lab environment for the physical lab through integrating virtual machines on Amazon Web Services (AWS), allowing students to get the lab experience needed using their personal PC’s, laptops, and mobile phones.
