Agata A. Exner

Agata A. Exner (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA, in 1998 and 2003, respectively. In 2003, she became an Assistant Professor, an Associate Professor in 2010, and a Professor in 2015 with the Department of Radiology and the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Case Western Reserve University. She is currently the Associate Director of the Medical Scientist Training Program. Dr. Exner is a fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering. She was a recipient of the Distinguished Investigator Award from the Academy of Radiology Research in 2013 and the Mather Spotlight Woman of Achievement Award from Case Western Reserve University in 2015. She is also an Associate Editor of the Annals of Biomedical Engineering.
