Bio
Ahmed Hallawa is a PhD candidate at the chair of Integrated Signal Processing Systems (ISS), under the supervision of Prof. Gerd Ascheid. He holds a MSc. degree from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. His main research interest is the use of machine learning in robotics, swarm intelligence, embedded systems and drug development. He is particularly focused in evolutionary computation, task distribution and collective behaviour, artificial neural networks, and optimal control theory. He is currently taking part in the research activities of H2020-FETOPEN project “PHOENIX: Exploring the Unknown through Reincarnation and Co-evolution”.
