Aleksandar Stanoev received the M.Eng. degree (Hons.) from the University of Bristol, Bristol, U.K., in 2018. He is currently a Senior Research Engineer with the Bristol Research and Innovation Laboratory, Toshiba Corporation, Minato, Japan. He is also a Maintainer of the Contiki-NG Open-Source IoT Operating System. His current research interests include low-power wireless MAC protocols, large-scale smart city deployments and their design challenges, and embedded IoT hardware design.
