Alexandra Filip received the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in electrical engineering from Jacobs University Bremen, Bremen, Germany, in 2011 and 2013, respectively. She is currently working toward the Doctoral studies. In September 2013, she joined the Institute of Communications and Navigation at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) as a Research Associate in the Aeronautical Communications group. Her current research interests include passive multistatic radar systems and the associated radar signal processing techniques. Miss Filip received the Best Student Paper Award at the 2014 Integrated Communications Navigation and Surveillance Conference.
