His current research interests include laser processing, mainly additive manufacturing (selective laser melting, directed energy deposition) and micromachining (surface texturing, microcutting and micro-drilling). He studies the development process diagnosis techniques using optical methods based on the analysis of the process emission and on the use of the probe light. He works at the SITEC - Laboratory for Laser Applications and Add.Me Lab of the Department of Mechanics.
