Ali Almansoori holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College, London, an M.B.A. from the London Business School and a B.S. degree from Florida Institute of Technology. He is currently the Dean of Engineering and Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Petroleum Institute, U.A.E. His main research interest is Process Systems Engineering with particular focus on energy systems design, simulation, modeling and optimization. His research also focuses on hydrogen and fuel cell technology with applications to the petrochemical industry. His research output includes numerous articles in international journals and conference proceedings, and a number of book chapters. Dr. Almansoori was also a research fellow at the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in Vienna, Austria, in 2012.
