Amirhossein Fathi received the B.Sc. degree in electrical power engineering from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2008, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in energy systems from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2010 and 2016, respectively. In 2014, he was a visiting Ph.D. student at the Laboratory of Modelling, Simulation and Control, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia. His main research interests include modeling, simulation, and advanced control of electric arc furnaces.
