Bio
Anany Dwivedi received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from the LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur, India, in 2015, and the M.S. degree in robotics engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Worcester, MA, USA, in 2017. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the New Dexterity Research Group, The University of Auckland, New Zealand, where his work focused on deciphering the myoelectric activity of the muscles of the human forearm and hand to decode dexterous manipulation motions in real as well as virtual environments. He joined the Chair of Autonomous Systems and Mechatronics, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität-Erlangen–Nürnberg, Germany, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, after the Ph.D. degree, where his work focused on development of bi-directional human–machine interfaces to increase presence and embodiment of the user during interaction with virtual environments while considering human-centered design principles. He is a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Artificial Intelligence Institute, University of Waikato, New Zealand, with a focus on the applications of machine learning techniques in data streams adaptation and interpretation for weak signals and extreme events.
