Bio
Anastasios (Tassos) Bezerianos is Senior Researcher at The Information Technologies Institute (ITI) in The Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Thessaloniki, Greece. He has been Professor of Patras University, Greece and head of Cognitive Engineering (COGEN) Lab of NUS, Singapore. He studied Physics and Telecommunications and received Ph.D. on Bioengineering. His research entails diverse areas spanning from Biomedical Signal Processing and Brain Imaging to Human Intelligent Machine Interactions. His work is summarized in 165 journal and 240 conference proceedings papers, 1 book and 2 patents. He is Associate Editor of IEEE TNSRE and PLOS ONE Neuroscience journals. He is a Fellow of The European Alliance for Medical and biological Engineering &Science (EAMBES) and Senior Member of IEEE and Founder and Chairman of the biannual International Summer School on Emerging Technologies in Biomedicine and the International Workshop on Human intELligent machIne cOexiStence (HELIOS)
