Career Trajectory
Bio
I want to understand the function and regulation of bacterial secretion systems, and their role during infection. My group studies these systems in situ, using advance microscopy techniques and functional assay. We combine our findings with synthetic biology approaches to allow the directed application of secretion systems in biotechnology and healthcare.
