Annelieke works as an ethnographer at Oxford University on the project 'Access to General Practice: Innovation, impact and sustainable change (GP-SUS)' (https://www.phc.ox.ac.uk/research/health-experiences/gp-sus-whatever-happened-to-all-those-attempts-to-change-access-to-general-practice). Between 2018 and 2022 Annelieke worked at LSHTM, first as an ethnographer in the Forms of Care project (https://www.lshtm.ac.uk/research/centres-projects-groups/forms-of-care), and later as a fellow funded by The Healthcare Improvement Studies Institute (THIS Institute). Her fellowship research explored COVID19 patients' experiences of their time on the intensive care unit (ICU) and their everyday life after discharge, and the experiences of family members of those who did and did not survive IC (https://www.thisinstitute.cam.ac.uk/about/people/dr-annelieke-driessen/) and resulted in a healthtalk module on ICU/COVID19.
