Ansoumana Bodian

Dr Ansoumana BODIAN is Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography at Université Gaston Berger of Saint-Louis (Senegal), where he teaches Hydrology and Geographic Information System (GIS). Dr BODIAN was engaged, for two years (from 2010 to 2012), as the Head of the Hydrology Division at the Senegalese Department for Planning Management of Water Resources (DGPRE). By that time, he was also a member of the Permanent Water Commission of OMVS (Organization for the Development of the Senegal River). His research activities are centred on characterizing spatial and temporal variability of climate and hydrologic impacts, modelling the rainfall-runoff relationship and on the elaboration and assimilation of climate scenarios in hydrological models.
