Bio
I joined the CS department at UC Irvine in July 2015. I received my M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the ECE department at Rice University, and my B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology.
My research involves building efficient and trustworthy systems. I enjoy solving operating system problems related to both mobile devices and datacenters.
Ardalan's research interests include mobile systems, operating systems, and virtualization. His research involves building efficient, high performance, and reliable system solutions. Recently, he has been working on the challenges and opportunities of the large number of Input and Output (I/O) devices appearing in modern computers from mobile systems to servers.
