Basit Raza received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2014. He conducted his Ph.D. research with the Soft Computing Research Group (SCRG), University Technology Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He began his career, in 2001. He has 20 years of experience (more than 11 years’ experience in a national organization and more than nine years of teaching and research experience, more than including seven years of post-Ph.D.). His research work on autonomic computing and database management systems started, in January 2007. He has published over 74 articles in reputed journals and conferences. His research interests include data science, information retrieval, autonomic computing in databases, data mining, intelligent computing, machine learning, deep learning, and medical imaging.
