Bayu Jayawardhana

Bayu Jayawardhana (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, Bandung, Indonesia, in 2000, the M.Eng. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Imperial College London, London, U.K., in 2006. He is currently a Professor of Mechatronics and Control of Nonlinear Systems with the Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands. He was with Bath University, Bath, U.K., and with Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre, University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K. His research interests include the analysis of nonlinear systems, systems with hysteresis, mechatronics, systems, and synthetic biology. Prof. Jayawardhana is a Subject Editor for the International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Control, and a member of the Conference Editorial Board of the IEEE Control Systems Society.
