Bio
Beáta Polgari (M'2009) was born in Miskolc, in the North-Eastern part of Hungary, on October 12, 1987. She attends the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. She received her BSC degree in 2010 as an electrical engineer. She will graduate in 2012 with an MSC degree specialized in Power Engineering (Power Systems).
She was working with superconductors before. Her special fields of interest included fault current limiters and transformers. Now she is focusing on smart application for the power grid.
Beáta received first price in 2008 and third price in 2009 in Electrotechnics at the National Scientific Student Conference in Hungary. She also received the Dennis Gabor award in 2008.
