Bio

My broad interest is understanding the biological, cognitive and neurological causes of child and adolescent depression. I use experimental, behavioural, fMRI, molecular genetic, epidemiological and RCT methods. My current research includes an RCT study of a preventive intervention for children of depressed parents, an eye-tracking study of attention and interpretive biases in children with depression and the development of an app-based intervention to promote mental wellbeing in young people.
