Benito Sanz-Izquierdo (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree from ULPGC, Las Palmas, Spain, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Kent, Canterbury, U.K. He was a Research Associate with the School of Engineering, University of Kent, where he became a Lecturer of Electronic Systems in 2013 and a Senior Lecturer in 2018. In 2012, he worked with Harada Industries Ltd., where he developed novel antennas for the automotive industry. His research interests include multiband antennas, wearable electronics, additive manufacturing (3-D printing), substrate-integrated waveguides components, metamaterials, sensors, electromagnetic bandgap structures, frequency-selective surfaces, and reconfigurable devices.
