Biresh Kumar was born in Ranchi, India, in 1978. He received the M.C.A. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), The University of Burdwan, in 2004, and the M.Tech. degree in computer science engineering from the Department of CSE, BIT, Mesra, in 2009. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in software engineering with the Department of CSE, Usha Martin University, Ranchi, India. In 2004, he started his professional career as a Lecturer with the Department of CSE, CIT, Ranchi. He excelled in teaching last 16 years. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and a Co-Coordinator at the Placement Cell, Amity University, Jharkhand, Ranchi. He is also a member of the UGC Grievances Committee, Amity University. More specifically, his work examines the field of machine learning, software engineering, and the IoT. He had a good number of research publications in different reputed national and international journals (25 journals). He has visited different IITs and NITs for attending seminars, faculty development programs, career enhancement programs, and conferences. His research interests include software engineering, the IoT, and swarm intelligence. He is also a Life Member of the Computer Society of India. He is a reviewer in the domain of computer science and engineering journals.
