Bio
Bo Yang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2009.
Prior to joining Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2010, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, from 2009 to 2010, and a visiting scholar with the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, New York, NY, USA, in 2007. He is currently a Full Professor with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is also a Cyber-Scholar with the Cyber Joint Innovation Center founded by Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has been the Principle/Co-Investigator in several research projects funded by NSFC, Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems, and U.S. air force. His research interests include game theoretical analysis and optimization of communication networks and smart grid.
Prof. Yang received the Shanghai Rising-Star Program in 2015, and the SMC-Excellent Young Faculty Award of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is on the editorial board of Digital Signal Processing (Elsevier) and in TPC of several international conferences. He served as the General Vice Chair of WiOpt 2018. He is a Member of ACM.
