Dr Ristic co-authored two books, ''``Beyond the Kalman filter: Particle filters for tracking applications'' (Artech House, 2004), and ``''Particle filters for random set models'' (Springer, 2013), several book chapters and close to 100 journal articles. He presented several plenary talks, short courses and tutorials. In 2007 the book “Beyond the Kalman filter” was voted in the top 10 publications in 100 years of DSTO. The article "Bernoulli filter for joint detection and tracking of an extended object in clutter" won the Premium award for the Best Paper in IET Radar, Sonar, Navigation (2014). Best paper awards also received at Information Fusion conferences (2004, 2005, 2010, 2016, 2017), and DICTA conferences (in 2005 and 2009). In 2020 Dr Ristic was included in the Stanford University list of the top 2% of scientists worldwide. Research interests: information fusion, Bayesian estimation, target tracking, particle filters, reasoning under uncertainty, sensor control and field robotics.
