Brian M. Sadler (Fellow, IEEE; Fellow, Army Research Laboratory) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park, and the PhD degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, all in electrical engineering. He is a senior research engineer at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) in Adelphi, MD. Dr. Sadler is an associate editor for EURASIP Signal Processing, was an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing and IEEE Signal Processing Letters, and has been a guest editor for several journals including IEEE JSTSP, IEEE JSAC, and the IEEE SP Magazine. He is a member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Sensor Array and Multi-channel Technical Committee. He received Best Paper Awards from the Signal Processing Society in 2006 and 2010. He has received several ARL and Army R&D awards, as well as a 2008 Outstanding Invention of the Year Award from the University of Maryland. His research interests include information science, networked and autonomous systems, sensing, and mixed-signal integrated circuit architectures.
