Budhendra Bhaduri

Budhendra Bhaduri received the M.S. degree in geology from Kent State University, Kent, OH, USA, the M.Sc. and the B.Sc. degrees in geology from University of Calcutta, Calcutta, India, and the Ph.D. in Earth and atmospheric sciences from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. He is a Corporate Research Fellow and leads the Geographic Information Science and Technology group, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN, USA. He is the Founding Director of the Urban Dynamics Institute, ORNL, Oak Ridge, TN, USA. His research interests and experience include novel implementation of geospatial science and technology in sustainable development research, including population dynamics, urbanization and watershed impacts, energy resource assessment, and disaster management.
