Christian Sticherling

Christian Sticherling currently works at the Klinik fur Kardiologie, Universitatsspital Basel. Christian does research in Cardiology with an emphasis on cardiac electrophysiology. One pillar is risk risk stratification for sudden cardiac death and ICD therapy. On current project is 'EU-CERT-ICD FP7 Collaborative Project (Comparative Effectiveness Research to Assess the Use of Primary ProphylacTic Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators in EUrope)'. Another focus is on invasive ablation therapy of atrial fibrillation and of ventricular tachycardia as well as on clinical aspects of atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.
