Camelia Gavrilescu

Camelia Anișoara Gavrilescu, PhD, is Senior Researcher and Head of Department “Farm and Environmental Economics” at the Institute of Agricultural Economics of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest, Romania. Her research fields are agricultural systems resilience, sustainable rural development, agri-food trade and agricultural policy. Dr. Gavrilescu completed her PhD studies at the Romanian Academy, Bucharest, Romania. Dr. Gavrilescu currently leads an Horizon 2020 Project research on development of efficient and resilient MIXED farming and agroforestry-systems. She has published in various journals and books and has participated in numerous conferences. She has worked in many research projects funded by EU Commission, the World Bank, FAO. She is chief editor and reviewer for Agricultural Economics and Rural Development Journal.
