Cedric Le Gentil

Cedric Le Gentil (Member, IEEE) received the DUT (associate degree) degree in electrical engineering and industrial computing from the University Institute of Technology of Cachan (Paris-Sud University), Cachan, France, in 2012, and the M.Sc. degree in electronic and computer sciences from CentraleSupelec, Gif-sur-Yvette, France, in 2015. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in robotics with the Centre for Autonomous Systems, University of Technology Sydney, Ultimo, NSW, Australia. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His research interests include robotics perception and state estimation using various modalities: IMU, LiDAR, event cameras, ultrasound, etc. His past and present research includes multiple international collaborations and academic visits: the German aerospace centre (DLR) in Germany, the Autonomous Systems Lab, ETHZ, Zürich, Switzerland, and the DREAM lab, GeorgiaTech Europe, Metz, France.
