Cenk Gündoğan received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Institut für Informatik, Freie Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 2016 and 2022, respectively. As a member of the Internet Technologies Group, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg, Germany, he explored within the I3 project communication paradigms, routing, QoS, and resilience in information centric networking (ICN)-based and IoT tailored networks. Since 2022, he has been a Senior Researcher with the Applied Network Technology Laboratory, Huawei Technologies, Munich, Germany, focusing on industrial connectivity and IT/OT convergence with TSN and OPC UA. He worked on a data-centric Web of Things deployment option by applying ICN principles to the IETF envisioned IoT network stack. He is one of the core developers and maintainer of the open-source IoT operating system RIOT.
