Bio
Chang Wu Yu (James) was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan in 1964. He received the BS degree from Soochow University in 1985, MS degree from National Tsing Hua University in 1989, and Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University in 1993, all in computer sciences.
From 1995 to 1998, he was an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Management, Ming Hsin Institute of Technology. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering, Chung Hua University. Dr. Yu received best paper awards at 2008 ACM International Conference on Sensor, Ad Hoc, and Mesh Networks and at both 2004 and 2007 Mobile Computing Workshop.
Dr. Yu serves as an editor of Ad Hoc & Sensor Wireless Networks: An International Journal (SCIE indexed) and the organizers of two workshops: International Workshop on Wireless Network Algorithm and Theory (WiNA) and International Workshop on Performance Evaluation of Wireless Networks (PEWiN). His current research interests include graph techniques, routing protocols, modeling and evaluation for wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks.
