Dr.Wu is focused on the development of fluorescent probes, biosensors, spectroscopic and imaging techniques for biomedical applications. Specifically, He has developed fluorescent semiconducting polymer dots (Pdots) with small size and high brightness for super-resolution optical imaging. He has developed robust polymer dot sensors for in vitro assays and in vivo dynamic glucose monitoring. He has also demonstrated enzyme-enhanced photodynamic effect from polymer-dot platforms for cancer treatment.
