个人简介
My research is in the area of multimedia communication and optimization, which focuses on video coding and processing technique at the source side, as well as communication related technique within a specific network, and thus investigate the combination of both in a feasible and efficient way. My current research topics inclue:
The application of distributed robust optimization in wired and wireless video transmission
Compressive sensing based networked video transmission
My previous research was mainly supported by the State Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China (with the name: Fundamental theory and experiment platform of adaptive networked video transmission), and the related topics are:
Optimal trading off between network lifetime and video quality for distributed video sources in
wireless visual sensor networks
Multi-rate multicasting for scalable video coding stream over hybrid wired/wireless networks
