Ching-Yuan Chen

Ching-Yuan Chen (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and the M.S. degree in electronics engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, in 2015 and 2017, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering with Duke University, Durham, NC, USA. He is currently working on reliability issues of artificial intelligence (AI) hardware and AI-aided electronic design automation. He was a Research Assistant with NTU and a Deep Learning Researcher with HTC Corporation, Taoyuan, Taiwan. Some representative projects include 1) cooperation with the municipal hospital to develop chatbot capable of medical diagnosis and 2) innovative reinforcement learning directed test program generation for integrated circuit testing. Mr. Chen was a receiver of the merit scholarship during his study in NTU (2016).
