Christos Vagionas

Christos Vagionas received the Diploma degree in electrical and computer engineering from the respective Department, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2008, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Informatics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2011 and 2017, respectively. He is currently a Senior Researcher with the WinPhos research group working in Integrated Photonics, Optical Communication Systems, and 5G Fiber Wireless networks in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During his Ph.D. degree, he received an IEEE Photonics Society Graduate Student Fellowship awarded at IPC in 2016, a Newport Grant awarded at CLEO 2012 by the Optical Society of America in 2012, and the Best Paper award at the Panhellenic Conference Eureka 2011, in Kastoria, Greece.
