Bio
Prof. Christoph Holst (*1986) studied Geodesy and Geoinformation at Bachelor and Master level at the University of Bonn with special focus on engineering geodesy and parameter estimation. Afterwards, he stayed at the University of Bonn as research assistant, PhD student and lecturer. In 2015, Prof. Holst completed his PhD and he started to lead a research group dealing with terrestrial laser scanning and geometric surface analyses.
During that time, Prof. Holst won several awards related to his scientific achievements and teaching concepts. He is member and advisor in several (inter-)national professional and scientific commissions focused on engineering geodesy and geodetic monitoring. In 2021, he was appointed as Full Professor for Engineering Geodesy at TUM.
